This is a 3D video demonstrating the mechanism of action of Cisplatin. It is designed to be played on tablets and other mobile devices to be displayed as an e-detail for drug promotions by medical representatives. Cisplatin is a chemotherapy drug. It was the first member of a class of platinum-containing anti-cancer drugs. These platinum complexes react in vivo, binding to and causing crosslinking of DNA, which ultimately triggers apoptosis (programmed cell death).
